THE PROGRAMME
We’re searching for a dynamic and innovative project lead who is skilled in supporting marginalised young people and who is able to forge a new approach to meeting their needs. Support for young people with caring responsibilities in Westminster is varied, therefore Westminster City Council and Young Westminster Foundation are working with DreamArts to help join up services.
The Young Carers Navigator role will map pathways of support, advocate for young carers by building awareness and training among professionals so they can identify and meet their needs, and seek innovative approaches to supporting young people with caring responsibilities.
We are looking for a project leader who is able to inspire and support young people and their families to access services, that has excellent partnership working skills, and is committed to reaching young carers to support wellbeing. As a member of the DreamArts family you will access professional practice development including how to apply therapeutic approaches within your planning and delivery.

WANTED - Carers Express Project Lead: £33k pro rata, 2.5 days per week, 2.5-year contract with scope for extension.
THE PROGRAMME
DreamArts fuse arts and therapeutic practice to support wellbeing. Our acclaimed CARERS EXPRESS project engages children and young people who provide emotional or practical support for a loved one. DreamArts is looking to appoint a dynamic and innovative creative project leader able to build Carers Express into a flagship project.
You will be responsible for producing and delivering creative and therapeutic activities for Seniors (12-18) and initiating a Juniors (8-11) group. They will meet 1 Sunday per month plus projects in school holidays, residentials (e.g. attending the UK Young Carers Festival) and special events where participants take control. You will act as lead facilitator and will be supported by a freelance Creative Facilitator and a Wellbeing Practitioner.

WANTED - EXPERIMENT Performance Company Director
THE PROGRAMME
DreamArts fuses arts and therapeutic practice to support wellbeing. Our acclaimed EXPERIMENT Programme engages 7-19-year-olds to explore and unleash their talents, try things out, express themselves and grow their skills. EXPERIMENT engages young people living in areas with some of the highest levels of child poverty in the UK. Participants take control and create their own original work, from musicals to short films, collaborating with leading facilitators and companies such as Les Enfants Terribles.
EXPERIMENT Performance Company is for ages 13-19. They meet at City of Westminster College over 8 Sundays between October-December and 10 Sundays between January-March, plus some special projects during school holidays. This will include working with young people to create and present their own original work, which in the past has ranged from cabaret shows, new musicals and immersive films.
We are looking for a facilitator/director who is able to inspire and support young people to devise their own work, that are passionate about engaging participants from marginalised communities, and are committed to support wellbeing through the arts. Start date – ideally we would like the successful candidate to be part of our exciting project team creating an immersive theatre piece with Les Enfants Terribles based at 2 Temple Place. We can be flexible but if available it would involve 3 Sundays in July (9th, 16th & 23rd), with school holiday sessions on Thursday 27-Friday 26 July and Monday 31 July – Friday 3 August.
