DreamArts is recruiting for a PROJECT PRODUCER FOR EXPERIMENT and a PROJECT MANAGER FOR YOUNG CARERS EXPRESS

WANTED – Project Producer
A Project Producer specialising in leading work with children and young people is needed to join DreamArts.

You will lead the acclaimed EXPERIMENT programme, bringing creativity to children and young people living in areas with the highest level of child poverty in the UK. On Saturdays in Pimlico and Sundays in Church Street 7-19 year olds explore and unleash their talents. You will lead a team of skilled professional to empower members to devise their own work – from new musicals to short films. No other equivalent affordable arts programme exists in Westminster, the heart of UK Theatreland.

Salary £25,000 pro rata + pension benefits

Hours 3 days per week for 26 weeks per year from 18 September 2017 to June 2018. This includes 20 Saturdays and Sundays whilst the Experiment Weekend Company is in term-time.

Contract Period 18 September 2017- 20 June 2018, with an option to extend for a further 2 years.

WANTED – Project Manager for Young Carers Express

A freelance Project Manager specialising in leading work with young people is needed to join DreamArts.

You will be developing a 10-month pilot project to work with young carers in Westminster who no longer have any dedicated provision available to meet their needs.  The pilot will follow DreamArts pioneering Express Collective creative and therapeutic arts model; this addresses challenges affecting the lives of young people and empowers them to choose an issue and a creative medium in which to explore solutions.  The Project Manager will engage and build relationships with young carers during August including consultation and taster sessions, followed by delivering projects over the October and February Half Terms, Easter and May/June 2018.

Fee                        £25,000 pro rata on a freelance contract

Hours                    1.5 days per week for 10 months, with an opportunity to extend (funding permitting).
